Fresh Orthodontics
I drove in to the new office this morning at the crack of dawn. Down the East River past the Manhattan skyline with Ellis island and the Statue of Liberty off in the distance. Something I’ve done hundreds of times at this point.
We finally pulled the construction paper off the windows and washed the salty mess of the past winter off them. Today was the first time I realized that we had a clear view of the Freedom Tower from our reception desk….if you squint your eyes and cock your head to the left.
My parents moved to the U.S. almost 40 years ago and sacrificed endlessly to give a better opportunity to my brother and me. 33 years in the making, I hope this is along the lines of what they had in mind when they set up shop for their own business in the small town of Eden, NC
